Logiwaste has been awarded the contract for a major project in Brøset, Trondheim, Norway. The order is valued at over 20 million SEK and includes the delivery of a complete automated pneumatic waste collection system.
The modern system will handle three waste streams for residents in the new area – residual waste, cardboard, and food waste. The contract includes the design, installation, and commissioning of terminal equipment, main pipelines, and drop points for three of the residential blocks in the area.
“We are very pleased to contribute to the development of such a forward-looking area as Brøset. This gives us the opportunity to demonstrate how modern waste systems can practically support sustainable urban development,” says Andreas Burman, CEO of Logiwaste.
Brøset – a new green district in Trondheim
Just outside Trondheim’s city center, Brøset is taking shape – an area where green spaces and buildings are given equal importance. Large, car-free green areas and an extensive network of pedestrian and cycle paths are planned. The vision is to create Norway’s greenest district, where innovative housing solutions are combined with sustainable infrastructure and vibrant natural environments.
Brøset will be a place where living green, smart, and conveniently is easy – a district that sets a new standard for how future sustainable communities can be built.
